"Wir waren gestern dort (Dienstag) und es war sehr gut besucht. Wir saßen im hinteren Bereich, der sehr schön mit Holz modernisiert wurde. Der Service war schnell und freundlich. Leider war das Essen fad (ich würze sehr selten nach), aber weder die Kässpätzle noch die wässrige Sauce haben nach 'irgendwas' geschmeckt. Das Fleisch (Rostbraten) war okay. Nur der Salat war wirklich sehr frisch und lecker. Preislich in der oberen Mittelklasse. Zum Salatessen kommen wir gerne wieder, aber ansonsten wohl kaum...."

Wer es gemütlich und ursprünglich mag im vorderen Restaurantteil wer es moderner mag im hinteren Restaurantteil mein Favorit Kalbsschnitzel mit Pommes oder mit Salat lecker

Leider waren wir heute sehr enttäuscht. Für einen Preis von 15,90 gab es 4 Stangen Spargel und 4 kleine Kartoffeln, 3 kleine zähe und harte Schweinlendchen kosteten nochmal 10 Euro extra. Schade!

Very nice traditional South German food and beer. Recommended! I had a dish of Frankfurter sausages and Lentils which was very nice. The others in the party had steak - very nice, turkey - very nice.

Man kann nicht meckern Ist mitten in Tettnang und es gibt alles was man braucht .Die Zimmer sind ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen , aber trotzdem okDas Frühstück ist super , sehr liebe voll gemacht , Must have!!

Die Auswahl der Speisen ist gut, es gibt typisch schwäbische Gerichte. Auch für Kinder gibt es eine eigene Karte, die sie sogar mit Buntstiften ausmalen dürfen. Die Bedienung ist sehr zuvorkommend, es gibt von den meisten Speisen auch kleine Portionen.

Wir waren als Gruppe mit mehreren Kindern hier essen und haben 4 Schnitzel und Pommes bestellt, die für die Kinder mit denselben PReisen berechnet wurden wie für die Erwachsenen. Außerdem wartete man sehr lang auf das Essen... Das regionale Bier war sehr lecker.

Wer die Schwäbische Küche erleben möchte, dem kann man schon mal unter vielen Angeboten den Tor oben in Tettnang empfehlen. Das Essen ist reichhaltig u d sehr schmackhaft. Dazu noch ein Bier aus der heimischen Brauerei und alles ist gut.Auch die Bedienung ist sehr nett und schnell. Also wir fanden alles bestens.

the torstube is a unique restaurant on the torbogen in the heart of tettnangs. Here you can really eat well! tasty house kitchen and regional specialties are on the menu and are highly recommended by the bank. the homemade cheese and torstubenpot are particularly delicious. also recommended are the beautiful wild dishes. in the view of the good quality of the food, the price-performance ratio is also true. the service staff is very friendly and accommodating. conclusion: always worth a visit!
