"This is a very disappointing restaurant. There are now three Tom’s Kitchen restaurants, one in Chelsea (the original restaurant which opened in 2006), one in Somerset House, and now one in Canary Wharf, which opened a few weeks ago, and which I visited as it is located close to my work. Tom’s Kitchen is a modern British brasserie serving comfort food, and tries to use UK-based suppliers wherever possible, and uses sustainable fish and they try to avoid endangered fish like tuna. The owner of these places is the famous chef Tom Aiken. When Tom’s Kitchen first opened in Canary Wharf I was keen to go there and I went there with my work colleagues Deepak and Trevor, and we had a really...read more"

on the back of my head it seems always laborious to check two-way one chain. while different management can bring different results, is certainly the point of a franchise to keep similar standards at its various locations. location: tom’s kitchen, canary wharf, london. kitchen: british

the time of your best friend is almost as exciting as your own; so much to talk, plan and drink! I mentioned my best friend anna on my blog already, we were friends since we were five and she is my oldest friend. Of course, she was one of my brautmaids and I was honored when she asked me to be one of hers.

Tom’s Kitchen is the third British brasserie from celebrated chef Tom Aikens . Located in Westferry Circus, the restaurant feels huge with the floor to ceiling windows letting the light flood in, and with the outside al-fresco area I am sure it must get absolutely packed on a nice sunny day during the week

is it really something better than a sex and the city style brunch with their favorite friends where eating is not the only on the menu, in which it did the secondary care when they think that the main order of the day is a great fat order of the juicy on the advance of the other. Of course, eating for me is never far understood, so I can't help, but to direct a great attention to this side event. Voir le carte

I don’t go to Canary Wharf that often, but when I do I have a pretty good reason. So when Tom’s Kitchen asked if we’d like to come and try out some of their latest menu, we hopped on the DLR and couldn’t wait to try it. Canary Wharf has become a hot spot of the latest restaurants and shops over the last couple of years and Tom’s Kitchen certainly has added to that. With a bar, deli and a restaurant cooking up all sorts of British comfort foods there is sure to be a little something for everyone.

Overpriced for what it is. Very few vegetarian, or carb free options for that matter. Non alcoholic drinks were average, and too sweet. The food itself was fine ordered the mushroom risotto, asparagus salad with duck eggs (eggs were overcooked), beetroot and venison carpaccio. On the plus side, there's plenty of room, it's airy and pretty, and the service is very friendly. Nice place for a leisurely catch up. I would come back here for drinks and to try more of their more traditional food burgers, steak et al.

wide open, inhuman spaces and hard, intentional angles – this is what canary wharf looks like on a Saturday night. the concrete seems to be undisturbed and undisturbed and the offices feel unaffected, like someone looking at the furniture and the bodies and decided they would be better at the bottom of the river. the passage is moderate, wide and even greater in its loneliness, and the everyone does not support it. with the so set scene, it won't surprise me to see how empty toms kitchen is, all blonde wood and no hot blood. I always had a fond love for afternoon tea and cakes, and was squealing with excitement when my friend “V” asked me to join her at Tom’s Kitchen in Canary Wharf. Tom’s Kitchen rang a bell to me, it took a while to figure out that I seen the Chelsea branch often filmed for the reality show “Made in Chelsea”. Tom’s Kitchen new branch Canary Wharf opened recently near Westferry Circus. Upon arrival you notice the venue us large, spacious, walking deeper to back of the modern British restaurant you notice it is very relaxed and casual environment. The set up feels like you stepped into open planned kitchen and dining area, green plants, steel lamps hanging from the...read more

This is a belated A London Lunch post and it was in fact a brunch, but on a Saturday or, in this case Sunday morning, the lines are incredibly blurred. One of my best friends, Jenni turned 30 way back in July last year, whilst I was 7 months pregnant, and as well as a full afternoon of drinking which I was sadly unable to participate in, we started the day in style, brunching at Canary Wharf’s Tom’s Kitchen . Tom’s Kitchen is part of the Tom Aitkens group and its’ style and ethos is around modern British comfort food in a laid back setting, which I’m happy to note it absolutely nails if our brunch is anything to go by. The birthday girl had the Seasonal Berry Pancake which was...read more
