"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."

"I celebrated my birthday yesterday with my family and it was incredible! super tasty eating, great workers, superlocal. we are back in every case! the employees have even prepared a small surprise for the final! we felt very comfortable here. they can see how much the customers are appreciated here! everything is done so that you can go home happy again. Thank you!"

"Wir waren zu zweit da und waren in Summe sehr zufrieden. Als Vorspeise hatte ich eine Suppe mit Nudeln und Hühnerfleisch, die geschmacklich sehr gut und reichlich war. Als Hauptgericht dann 2 x Kalbfleisch, die 42 und die 23 (Spezialität des Lokals) beides auch geschmacklich sehr gut und große Portionen. Die Karte ist sehr umfangreich, der Service ok und Preis Leistung für die Lage in Schwabing auch gut. Da muss man mal afghanisch gegessen haben, das ist sehr gut."

"Wir waren gestern Abend im Le Plaisant zum Abendessen. Unsere Erwartungen waren auf Grund der sehr guten Bewertungen sehr hoch, auch wenn man sich erfahrungsgemäß nicht immer darauf verlassen kann. Aber in diesem Fall wurden unsere Erwartungen sogar übertroffen. Jeder Gang war hervorragend. Gesmacklich ausdrucksstark und in sich dennoch abgerundet, so das es nie überwürzt schmeckte, einfach überragend. Auch die Zusammenstellung des Menüs und der Zutaten sowie die Präsentation der Teller war super. Der Koch bringt jeden Gang selber an den Tisch und erklärt den Gang super! Wir waren schon öfters in Sternerestaurants, die evtl. in der Rafinesse der Präsentation, durch sehr aufwändige Zubereitung spezieller Produkte, noch eins drauf setzen, aber geschmacklich kann das Le Plaisant da auf jeden Fall mithalten. Ich kann das Le Plaisant nur empfehlen, wenn man einen besonderen Abend, mit hervorragendem Essen, toller Weinbegleitung, schönem Ambiente und gutem Service verbringen möchte"

"we went to the happy fidjan today only by applause, but were totally enthusiastic. the food was very delicious and the ambiente is furnished with love to detail (vintage showcase, beautiful vintage glasses, candlestick, the waiter with the fly). we have never eaten Bosnian so we have ordered ourselves a bosa bosa breakfast (18 eur has served us two). everything was lovingly dressed, especially enthusiastic we were from mokka caffe. thanks to happy fidjan and the cordial attention service, despite the snow rain we had a beautiful Sunday morning. as we live directly around the corner we come back guaranteed and try even more Bosnian cuisine or just on a mokka caffe."
