"The Toby concept of Carvery dining is excellent and the Food provided was of Good value and choice. For Customers unfamiliar with the Concept there needs to be Clearer description within the Menu and more so Clear descriptions of Options for those Customers who do not want a Full Carvery dining experience. The Online Booking process was very Good and followed through with Confirmation and Reminders up to the Actual Booking date. On the Evening of the Booking the Toby clearly advise all Customers to Wait to be seated although there was no one in attendance. When confirming the Reservation the Table was not Ready and the Manager had to clean and set up the Table. At the Table the Drinks order were taken and some questions asked of the Manager who said a Server would follow up with our Order. The Server took the Order and we received both Drinks and the Order however after that we were left. The Toby was not overly busy but staff seemed to be busy and no real commitment to Customers seated. The Carvery is mostly self service and we probably bucked the trend by having Sandwiches however Customers should still receive attention. We all loved the food but found it quite soleless in its atmosphere. The Group of 5 Females meet on a Regular basis and were looking for a close to the Motorway meeting place for our meet ups however for us the Toby did not get our full Thumbs up."

It was my first visit to the Watergate Toll, and I will definitely be returning. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent, and there was plenty of it.

the half of the meat was not available with us 1330 clock. the staff was very good and friendly. this is the third time in the last weeks we were and the third time that the sea bass was not available.

nice dinner. service super that the bark was only dosed, was not ready. wait half an hour. only truthahn little piece ham left. my niece has a disc that we had no time to wait for bark meat. partner would also be of preferred bark. Never happened.

Quite liked Toby carvery me and my wife went I booked for 1pm and got seated easily the staff were very attentive. The carvery was good me and my wife had gammon and beef they only gave us a bit though it was reasonably priced we definitely will go again Voir le carte

The food at this restaurant was good and the service was great. However, we were disappointed that the beef was not ready and we had to wait half an hour for it. By the time it was ready, there was only a small piece of ham and turkey left. My niece only got one slice of meat because we didn't have time to wait around for the beef. My partner would have preferred the beef as well. This has never happened to us before.
