"Food and service excellent. However, I was looking forward to RARE roast beef and/or pink lamb, and both were slow cooked and for me, thoroughly overcooked. If I can get a rare steak in a restaurant, why can't the carvery do rare roast beef? Is this an EU ruling which should be abandoned? Advertisements are misleading."

The food was really lovely nice and hot and plenty. The staff was really lovely as I had my 94 yr old grandma with me and they put us close to the carvery so my grandma didn't have to walk as at her age she does have walking problems

Despite being very busy the service was excellent and the food from the carvery excellent and piping hot. Choice of five meats freshly carved and constant replacement of dishes of vegetables to ensure they were hot and fresh. Puddings slightly disappointing, but after a huge main course are not really essential!
