I've been several times. The food is consistently good and value for money. The staff are members of their church; they're polite and welcoming but no one pushes their beliefs which would be a huge red flag.

A great find for lunch in Honiton breaking a journey from Cornwall to London. So much more lovely than motorway services to stop and explore beautiful towns and villages just near the motorway . Great food, fabulous setting, beautiful view, attentive staff. Don't miss this place.

We had 'Deli Rose ' sandwiches here for lunch and it was all excellent. It 's worth seeing inside this place as it 's wonderful and unique. Having dined there twice, I highly recommend Yellow Deli for its laid-back atmosphere and cozy surroundings. The staff is friendly and accommodating, which enhances the experience. The hot sandwiches are delicious, and the cream cakes with strawberries are simply delightful! The menu is intentionally kept concise, but they truly excel in what they offer. The place has a wonderful, quirky charm that makes it well worth a visit to appreciate its many lovely qualities.

I'm concerned that this restaurant is operated by an organization known as the Twelve Tribes, which has been linked to troubling beliefs and practices. There are serious allegations against them, including support for mass genocide, antisemitism, racism, and homophobia, as well as reports of child abuse. It's been documented that they may exploit child labor, with disturbing footage available online showing harsh treatment of children, some as young as three years old, if they make mistakes while working. What a wonderful find! We had no idea about the Yellow Deli before our visit, and it turned out to be an incredible experience. The staff was beautiful, friendly, and welcoming, and the menu was fantastic, offering absolutely delicious food. The Deli Rose sandwich is phenomenal, and as we've been told, it's the same recipe that has been used for decades. It’s easy to see why—they don't fix what isn't broken! The prices are reasonable, and the restrooms are lovely as well. The ethos of the community behind the Yellow Deli shines through, creating a relaxed and memorable experience. We will definitely be back to try more of the beautifully described dishes!
