Friendly welcoming staff. Lovely downstairs/outdoors. Rooms upstairs a little tired, possibly due to allowing dogs. Excellent Sunday roast, best ever infact, so was the full English the next morning! Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 4

Absolutely fantastic little spot! We spent one night in the four-poster rooms and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was beautiful, the dining and drinks were excellent, and the hospitality was outstanding! It’s definitely worth a visit, and we hope to return someday.

The rooms are wonderfully comfortable, and the English breakfast is simply amazing. The black pudding and sausage were a true delight. Overall, I would rate the rooms a perfect 5, the service a 5, and the location a 5. This hotel is a highlight for luxury and romance.

This is a pleasant gastro pub that also offers accommodations. While the rooms are somewhat outdated and can be a bit noisy, they are still acceptable. The food is better than typical pub fare, although you can find more upscale options in the Cotswolds. Overall, I would rate the rooms as a 3, the service as a 4, and the location as a 4.
