"A very cute little cafe with a good atmosphere. But slightly overpriced and pretentious. For example we ordered the “banana loaf stack” for £12.50 and it was one slice of banana bread with cream on top? We had some problems with our order and the wait staff were really nice about it , the chef however was quite snappy and abrupt and snatched the plate off me when I said it was the wrong order. We were served the wrong meal, which is fine and it happens. But because of the snappiness they didn’t listen to me as I explained that they served bacon to a Muslim family and the whole dish would need to be remade due to contamination. As a result, my brother was really upset and it kind of ruined our meal as they then brought out the same plate of food with just the bacon removed, which is quite insensitive. If someone had a nut allergy, this wouldn’t have been okay, and it’s the same for us. Perhaps it was my fault for approaching both her and the waitress at the same time, instead of seeking the waitress alone, but her snappiness lead to the order being wrong again, so , it is what it is."

We have been visiting this restaurant for several years and have always had a good experience. The coffee is delicious and they serve REAL food. The staff are always very helpful and pleasant.

This was our second visit and we loved it as much as the first time. Really tasty and wholesome options. It is expensive but they use high quality ingredients and unusual combinations, specially in the great choice of cold drinks. They also sell their produce and we bought a jar of beetroot kraut to take home. Again expensive, but very special! Voir le carte

The place is one of my favs in Thame, the atmosphere the modern clean shop and friendly staff and service. But the standout is the food I love the Pear and choc cake with a lovely coffee. You can really taste the difference in food and coffee from your Franchise coffee shops. I also love the avocado toast and scrambled eggs. Lovely to see independents thriving in Thame.

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for this place yet! We try to come at least once a week for the company, the food and the atmosphere! The food and coffee are delicious and consistently so. We always get two slices of the olive oil pistachio cake and my hubby always has the scrambled eggs on toast with a side of avocado … but everything we’ve had here has been wonderful. We’ll keep coming back as much as possible!
