Took more than 30 mins to get our first food a bread basket. Good cooking though although homemade bread not what it was built up to be. Will definitely return though in the summer months"

I visited this pub a few weeks ago. It's located in a remote area, but right off a main road.

Delicious lunch. Our steaks were cooked to perfection! As others have remarked not that easy to find. Hint: ignore the sat nav and stay on the main road/lane.

Located on top of the Chiltern Hills, this charming old pub offers amazing views. However, it is unfortunate that the food and service do not live up to the beautiful surroundings.

Very much enjoyed our lunch. However rather upset that although I had booked on line, the staff had no record of that. Good job we were early so did get a table, but might have been a problem had we arrived later.
