"My brother and I came to the New Inn for a dinner. We were greeted by a very friendly service manager, and that basically set the theme for that evening with the service manager, bar attendant and food server all being very friendly and polite. The food servings were very well priced and had large portions. I was very impressed and while I have only a short time left in the UK I will certainly be returning and would recommend them to friends and travelers alike. The business has a lot of share platters so if you are the romantic type and like to share a large platter for dinner and even desert then you wont be disappointed."

"Wanted to say how impressed I was with the Food and service. Spent the evening of May 6th 2022 at The Bridge Inn, Newport, Shropshire. It was my Special Birthday. Had excellent service , the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was superb, we were a small party of three, but we all had the Fish and Chips. cooked to perfection, then two of the party had the Cheesecake with Pecans for sweet, and I had the Chocolate brownies with Vanilla Ice Cream. It could not have been better. Meal came out for us piping hot and the waitresses were speedy and efficient. Would definitely go back again. In-fact am looking forward to it. Well done and Thanks so much."

"Friends booked the table for a long awaited get together. My last experience wasn’t very positive so I was a bit dubious. It proved to be a lot better than I anticipated. The menu was the same or very similar to other Brunning and Price places, lots of choice with main meals and light bites; quite expensive but reflecting the cost of living increases. Of the light bites, the flatbread with coronation chicken was found to be very hard and difficult to cut so somewhat disappointing. The cauliflower and coconut fritters dish with mango salad was interesting and enjoyable. The fritters didn’t have identifiable cauliflower or coconut as they were blended with either flour or potato but the katsu curry dressing gave extra flavour. The salad was vibrant and tasty with sushi ginger and chilli but could have done with more mango as per the description. Two of us had the mini dessert with a hot drink at £8.95, again quite expensive but tea on its own would be £3.95. We shared a nice big pot of tea, plenty for both to have refills. The other friend had a regular dessert which she was very happy with. The service was pleasant and the waiter was happy to split the bill for us to pay separately. On the basis of this visit I’d go again."

"On my second visit, we were told there would be a 30-minute wait for a table, despite the fact that the restaurant was largely empty. However, all the tables were reserved, so we chose to go elsewhere. Today was my third visit, and although many tables were booked, the friendly young man at the front assured us he could find us a table. The menu had a good variety of options that I think would appeal to everyone. My wife and I ordered completely different dishes, both of which were beautifully presented and cooked exactly to our specific requests—we can be quite particular! The waitress was exceptionally friendly, polite, and attentive. We couldn't have asked for better service or meals. When I settled the bill, I was asked if everything was satisfactory, and I responded that it was not just okay; it was absolutely extraordinary. We will definitely return and recommend the Red House to our friends. If anyone has any concerns about the service or anything else, I encourage them to speak up to the staff. Well done, Red House!"

"My experience at this pub on a Friday night was fantastic! It is the top spot in the area for vegan food. With a selection of three starters, four mains, and two desserts to choose from, there is something for everyone. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about which beers were vegan-friendly. I tried the banana flower fish and chips and it was delicious. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture! The staff were incredibly friendly and I will definitely be coming back again."
