The Winchester - Carte

I have visited here a couple of times and have always had a pleasant visit. The drinks are particularly of a good quality and it is in a good location.

They literally gave us a bottle of Tesco finest prosecco and charged £30 for it, then got arsey when we complained. Go straight to Tesco and save yourself £25

Probably the worst the pub ever. They sold us Tesco Prosecco for £30 and then denied all knowledge. Rude manager, rude staff and corny music. Food is not bad (hence the 1 star) Voir le carte

The restaurant recently got new ownership and has transformed into an Irish sports bar. While it may be a fun spot for socializing, the quality of the food leaves much to be desired.

Formerly known as Dicey Reilly's, this bar has been open for three weeks now. It boasts a fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff, and a lot of fun. A visit to this bar is highly recommended.

Had a lovely time at this pub/bar, cocktails were great our recommendation is clubsmash it was rather delish! We tried about 9 different cocktails and enjoyed all of them, we came during 2 for 1, so £8 for two cocktails is a steal!!!!! Especially in Islington! Would recommend to a friend staff were friendly and accommodating they even gave us a free cocktail as they were out of watermelon syrup for a particular cocktail Voir le carte

Worst pub ever, don’t bother going. They sold us Tesco finest prosecco and when we complained they didn’t take any responsibility or apologise. Rude manager who doesn’t know anything about customer service. They had a board for 2 for 1 cocktails outside but said they weren’t serving it during the Christmas period. Joke establishment. Food is the only bearable thing. We ended up going to the Wenlock and Essex further along and had a great night.

We came to the Winchester for Sunday lunch for a pre-Christmas get together and we were all glad we did. The food is of a very good standard, typical roasts e.g. Beef, half chicken, Pork belly with apple sauce, lamb and a three meat roast, all served with roast potatoes seasonal vegetables and Yorkshires. They even do an excellent veggie option. All the people in our group thought the food was superb and enjoyed their meals, all the plates went back empty. The staff were brilliant, really friendly and with a can do attitude. I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was nice and the interior setting was pleasant. However, the customer service was lacking. I called ahead to reserve a table, but when we arrived, we had to ask two people to move so we could sit at a table for four. I specifically booked because the website advertised a 2 for £20 deal on roast dinners, but the board outside said it was 2 for £22. When I inquired about this discrepancy, I was told abruptly that it was 2 for £22 and the staff member didn't seem to care about the website's information.
