This pub is incredible! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the menu offers a wide variety of options. We had paella last night and delicious ribs tonight. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect score of 5.

I had a wonderful experience at this charming village pub. The food was fabulous, the hosts were lovely, and the atmosphere was fantastic. It was great to see you, Clive and Kerry. I highly recommend trying the Fish and Chips. Overall, I would give this place a perfect rating of 5 for food, service, and atmosphere.

Just had. A lovely meal in this relaxed and comfortable country pub . Steak and ale pie delicious. Good choice on menu and service great . We went here for a Sunday lunch braai, absolutely amazing! Went to quite a few pubs in the area, but this one was by far the best in food and service. Amazing bbq meat with very tasty side dishes. People are very friendly and so willing to help you out with anything. If I would live in Dorset (which I would!! , I would definitely come here every Sunday. Kind regards from the Netherlands! I've been to both the smash burger evening and Friday rib night now. Absolutely top notch food and service on both occasions. The apple pie pulled pork Burger is an incredible combo that I would definitely recommend to anyone. It sounds a bit mad but trust me it's delicious! Excellent value for money as well. Very lucky to have The White Lion as our local pub. Will definitely be back again soon. Price per person: £20–30

I am in the enviable position of living right next to this pub. It is a community pub run by a committee and a dedicated Couple Kerry and Clive who bring their own style of management and cooking to our village. I have a number of dietary restrictions but have eaten here on a number of occasions. Their cooking takes account of dietary needs and I have no hesitation in recommending this establishment for food and drinks. Recommend that you book a table as the Sunday lunches and ‘Ribs’ night are very popular.

Staying in the area with my wife, we spotted this pub on the way back from a day out. Had a look online liked what we saw, so booked a meal…so glad we did! Simple menu, but good honest pub grub. We both had a pie really enjoyed them. However, the food was a bonus, the highlight was what a great pub this was. It happened to be Bingo night, so we thought, “why not?”, it was really good fun, helped by the fact we had beginners luck a few wins, but that wasn’t the point. Really friendly managers, the Palmers beers were lovely, as was the cider my wife tried. Overall, we got the sense that this community owned pub was truly a hub of the community what a village pub should be. Well done all involv... Voir le carte
