"We stayed at the White Hart for 2 nights with dinner included in the price. The first night there was only one young man serving everything drinks, food, the lot! He was very nice but clearly up against it certainly not his fault! We waited nearly an hour for our first course and that was only served because we eventually went to the bar to order (others around had their order taken at their table). All the food appeared to be bought in rather than made on site. My caesar salad looked like it had had 2 packets of Tesco sandwich chicken emptied on the plate. The second evening was slightly better as there were a lot of staff working (partly due to a private event somewhere in the pub I think). The pub itself had quite a nice feel, but the service and food were not as expected or hoped."

The food was nice, delicious desserts! Staff friendly and helpful but could have been a bit more attentive. It was also very quiet, some soft music would have been nice.

The white hart is our favourite pub to visit for any occasion, staff are always attentive pleasant. Food is good, never had any issues. Atmosphere is perfect dogs welcome.

The food here is quite mediocre. I ordered a burger and fries, but the burger was rather dry. This pub has the potential to be really great if they could enhance the quality of the food and expand the menu. Voir le carte

Fantastic staff friendly, professional and a credit to the establishment. Food ok tasty and unpretentious if lacking the home made quality it did feel a bit 'buy it in and heat it up '. Overall though its a great pub with a lovely ambience and drink selection.

we recommend that we use gluten-free when booking table, but the white hard does not accredit this. otherwise it's a good pub. I would recommend this pub for people who don't need a diet. however, it is unfair for those who have allergies, especially as they were made aware when we had booked.
