The White Hart - Carte

Didn't stay the night, but sat in the wonderful garden, had a couple of pints and some dinner. Food was great, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were fantastic and attentive.

Just stayed one night. Rooms were clean , tea,coffee and hot chocolate provided. Shower not very powerful and situated in a bath. Breakfast was included and was very good quality. Quite steep stairs to the rooms.

We decided to stop by on the chance that we could get a table for dinner, and I'm so glad we did. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the wait staff were attentive and friendly. This was our first visit, and we will definitely be returning in the future. Voir le carte

A modern upgrade has been attempted, but I believe less thought was put into the final design than needed. This includes the lack of any higher level electrical sockets. These are a must have for older patrons. Some larger members of our group found the toilet spaces restrictive.

It is in the heart of the witham city! Very clean and tidy up place for short travels for work and city breaks. It is very old building but looked after very well. The hotel also has its cosy pub dining areas designed to create that mood break for stress relief. If you are bored eating the hotel food you have a few options to try around the place within walking distance.

The room was well-equipped and located in a charming old inn. The staff were exceptional, and the breakfast was outstanding. The inn is conveniently situated in the town center. Despite being on a busy main road, the double glazing effectively minimized noise. The beds were very comfortable, and the room had a large TV, hairdryer, iron, and fan. We will definitely return. Didn't use the hotel, only the pub. It's a big place, with loads of space at the bar and multiple rooms set out with tables. The place is busy and popular with lots of locals, with a good size beer garden. The whole place is aimed at adults, with no under 18s at the bar and no play area outside. The long bar has a decent beer selection, plus they have a section for real ales in kegs. It's a nice idea, with big glass doors to keep the temperature right. We visited on a bank holiday weekend, but unfortunately only one beer was on, the other two said coming soon. Timed that wrong.

We visited the White Hart for a Mother’s Day roast lunch, and I can't recommend it highly enough. We tried various roasts, and each one was exceptional. My daughter, who is a vegetarian, was overlooked in our reservation, but the staff quickly arranged a vegetarian roast for her. The portions were generous, and the food was delicious. Jody and the other staff members were fantastic; they were friendly and incredibly efficient. We're already discussing our next visit. I highly recommend this restaurant. A big thank you to everyone for making the lunch special, especially for treating all mothers to a complimentary glass of Prosecco!

We visited this evening for dinner only. My parents are down for a few days and I wanted to treat them. I can only comment on the food and the dining area, didn't go to other areas within the hotel and obviously didn't see any of the bedrooms. The outside is very attractive and inviting. The parking was crammed.. not a great start! The menu on offer is quite good, but rather costly to be honest. The presentation of the food is wonderful, and the taste nice too, but it's let down with the cheap cutlery, and the Menus being printed on an A4 sheet of paper and clipped onto a cheap clip board.. I felt that if you're charging £7.95 for a prawn cocktail and £14.95 for a battered haddock and chips,... Voir le carte
