The reviews say it all there is little I can add, except to say you don’t achieve reviews such as these without very good reason. Don’t hesitate to make a booking. You will certainly not be disappointed. It truly is a little piece of heaven absolute perfection in every way.

Best lodging on our whole trip. Room was wonderful and our hostess was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing. This is a very relaxing location nestled in a very small town but easy driving distance to pubs and restaurants. A perfect place to stay between London and York. Voir le carte

There are only 5 stars on the scale to rate this... Needs more!! The Chestnuts is a little slice of Heaven in the countryside. Kelly and David are the perfect hosts and seem to think of everything to make your stay magnificent... We particularly love the EV chargers on site and the dog-friendliness! Oh, and did I mention the breakfasts?!?! Out of this WORLD...

The Chestnuts definitely deserves all the five star reviews. The bedroom was immaculate and very well equipped, they've thought of everything. The breakfast was superb, so much choice. We stayed for a couple of nights whilst going to cricket at Trent Bridge, and hope to return to the Chestnuts next summer when we can sit outside of an evening and hopefully play croquet. Wonderful accommodation in a lovely setting.

Just spent an amazing couple of days here, enjoying 5 star plus accommodation. Kelly and David have to be the best B&B hosts – and we’ve experienced quite a few over our decades! The breakfast menu offers a wide variety of innovative options featuring some Victorian treats with delicious locally sourced and home-made delights. A wonderful and memorable stay thank you. From the moment we arrived, Kelly and David were warm and friendly and the room was immaculate and super cosy and Kelly's cake and flapjack went down a treat. This bed and breakfast is another level and the breakfast was divine. I've never had such delicious food to start my day and my son gave the pineapple and pink peppercorn jam and his pancake stack a big thumbs up. We will definitely be back to enjoy the grounds, sunrises and sunsets in another season.

I was looking for a dog-friendly place to stay on my journey back home from Devon and stumbled upon The Chestnuts Country House Boutique B&B. After reading reviews and exploring the website, I immediately booked a room. This B&B is truly remarkable - not only is it dog-friendly with treats and towels in the room, but dogs are also welcomed everywhere on the property. The accommodations are of high quality and offer great value. Hosts Kelly and David were extremely helpful and accommodating, and breakfast in the beautiful dining room was a delightful experience. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be staying here again.

We’ve just returned from having stayed at Chestnuts Country House for five nights it was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at with lovely gardens and surroundings. Our room was beautifully furnished and very comfortable breakfast was amazing it was very difficult to choose from the extensive menu!! Very generous portions and absolutely delicious!! Each day we would return from our travels to wonderful home baking left in our room which was a really lovely touch and most enjoyable. Our hosts David and Kelly couldn’t have been more kind, generous and helpful and we look forward to returning there again sometime in the future. Voir le carte
