Cracking mid week carvery been there a few times this year when I come down to Devon to see my grandmother and family lovely little pub with good atmosphere Voir le carte

We were passing this Pub and decided to pop in for lunch which was nicely presented and very tasty along with great friendly service and fairly priced, would certainly go back again.

Amazing people and food has been great. I'm not from the UK but now been to 6 pubs/Inn's in the local area and happy to say this is my favorite. The staff is super friendly and accommodating as can be. Inviting atmosphere!

Came here to have a bite to eat one sunny evening and ended up coming back the next day for their Friday lunch time roast. We were very happy with the service provided and the food was good quality. Would also say the prices are very reasonable. Voir le carte

This pub is in a quiet village but was bustling with customers at lunch. We had only about half an hour for lunch before an appointment so had just a starter each. Mine was hot smoked salmon and prawns which were absolutely delicious and so well presented. A member of staff found a table for us among the many occupied tables. So accommodating. We'll certainly be back if we are in Ipplepen again.

Went for lunch with six friends today and will certainly be back again. I nearly always end up with a ploughman's or a carvery. So it was ham ploughman's today and it was excellent. There were 20 different things on my plate, a mixture of fruit and salad and it was a struggle to get through but I was determined!!! The other meals looked so tasty too. Have never heard of cheesey cabbage with chorizo but I had a taste and it was yummy. We will be back. The staff were lovely and welcoming.

Sunday lunch Carvery 14th July. Blown away. This is the best carvery we have ever eaten and we've had a few) good choice of meat. Fresh, pipping hot vegetables and the tastiest of gravy. Didnt want it to end. Warm welcome. Chef and bar Staff friendly and couldn't do enough for us Surroundings and bathroom stopless. Garden looked well kept. Our own pub at the bottom of village in Marldon has taken a nose dive so this will definitely become our new local. Steak night next. Well done the Welly. Don't change a thing.
