"C'est un charmant pub juste à côté de la nourriture est très bon et il y a une gamme décente pour tous les goûts. Je peux recommander le poulet déchiré et la tarte de jambon, servi sur une purée crémeuse avec une belle sauce. Le bâtiment lui-même ferait une belle maison, quand le gaspillage se sent tout à fait initial, même lorsque l'endroit est occupé. Le jardin est idéal pour manger à l'extérieur ou juste assis à prendre un verre et il y a une aire de jeux pour les enfants.Staff est très sympathique et serviable. Je suis très content que nous vivons seulement une minute de route de ce pub"

"Once again this friendly local pub in the centre of Plaxtol Village provided us with a first class mid week supper. Their draught beer £5.80/pint) from Longman 's was beautifully kept and every mouthful of hop flavoured ale was perfect. It was very cosy in the small dining area adjacent to the bar as the log fire was blazing on this very wet Storm Babet night The beef and Suffolk blue cheese croquette with horseradish sauce £9.00) was delicious. Hot crispy crust with a wonderful savoury middle had to ask for more sauce which quickly arrived. The salmon rillette £9.00) was also enjoyed as a starter. I had the Thai green curry £17.50) with chicken again) and was not disappointed. Lovely medium hot curry with tender chicken pieces and rice, perfectly cooked, with a slight bite. Other enjoyed the Chicken Ballotine £19.00) which was stuffed with spinach, cheese and rolled in Parma ham. When it came to desserts, most of us were too well fed to tackle anything more than a digestive ice cream at £3.00 per dollop and really good. We liked the Picpoul de Minet £32.00) and large glass of Tempranillo £7.80) The food is in a class above mots other local restaurants and pubs so should command greater support!!"

"first visit, certainly not be the last. nice relaxed feeling, because it from the city (i.e. sevenoaks) most customers probably go there, so likely to win regular instead of a more transient customer base. eating was fresh and well presented, good variety they support a local junior school by building a fund to promote the night for them so good connections to the community."

"We decided to celebrate my birthday dinner here after hearing great reviews, and we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious taste and high quality of the food! This restaurant surpasses many others in the area. The chef truly knows how to make each dish special. The service was also excellent. We look forward to returning to try more dishes in the future. "There was 15 of us for Sunday lunch. Couldn't fault the food there was plenty of meat veg etc. It was quite expensive for a Sunday roast £25 £32. Starters were expensive too average around £14. We were all squashed onto a long table made up of about 5 uneven individual tables if you wanted to leave the table at any time the person sitting next to you had to move. The service wasn't to bad. No salt and pepper on the tables we had to ask. £25 for 2 beers glass of wine and a coke. We had a nice time. Would I go again. No Would I recommend. Only if you can afford to pay the expensive prices and if there's only a small party of you"
