Went in, big light, hate pubs with big lights but it was Nov and out of season, very quiet. Got chatting to two locals who recommended the food. We went back the next evening. Inside, the modern decor adds to a pleasant ambiance, and although we didn’t explore the garden, I would assume it’s just as stylish and inviting. Our food was served promptly and vanished just as quickly because it was absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to find macaroni and cheese and creamy leeks as sides, alongside the usual swede mash, broccoli, and carrots that perfectly complemented our Roast Beef and Slow-Cooked Gammon. I would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area or even the island. The evening menu looked enticing and offered a refreshing change from the typical pub fare—if only we had a few more days to come back and try more dishes!... Voir le carte
