It has consistently been a great spot for delicious food at a good price, with friendly staff that provide excellent service. Not a very nice place. The smell from the toilets is shocking. Barmaid was rather clumsy, spilt a whole pint as she was serving it to my husband. Voir le carte

The food was fabulous, the best burgers we've had in a long time, and it was great value for money. The serving and waiting staff were very friendly. We will definitely be returning soon.

This might be our favorite pub food we've had in Dundee so far! I decided to try the large loaded fries, thinking that the price meant it was a big portion for one person... but I was pleasantly surprised! For less than £10, I got a generous portion of loaded fries that was like a mountain. The boys ordered a burger and a ciabatta, and everyone was satisfied and happy with their meal.

Used to be my favourite place in first year. However it has to be the biggest drop in quality I’ve ever seen in a restaurant and a pub. The food is now terrible, has arrived cold multiple times and lacks any flavour. Drinks are cheapish for students during the week but prices are extortionate at the weekend. I would not recommend to anyone unless you you want to be severely disappointed and close to depression. Voir le carte

Second visit in two days need we say more? Friendly, relaxed bar with great pub food. Staff are great and fitted us in even when really busy. Portions are generous and we’ll priced. Nice atmosphere with a mix of couples and student groups when we visited. Wide menu with a few twists on traditional options and lots of tasty snack and little plate options. Would definitely recommend. Special mention for Michelle and Abbie!

We required a quick snack prior to an evening lecture in Dundee University and the Tinsmith staff did not disappoint. The chilli regular was massive and filled an empty stomach at an amazing price. I cannot imagine the size of the grande. Extremely pleasant and accommodating staff looked after us in a welcoming environment. Two screens were showing European football and entertaining a large party. Excellent atmosphere. Thank you.
