Three Crowns - Carte

Ok so straight of the bat we eat out a lot and one of my bugbears is pubs that fancy themselves as restaurants.

Poor service, food average and took 50mins to arrive (after asking three times). Probably best to go here for just a drink.

Homophobic staff, £7.10 badly poured pints. Don’t kiss or show affection if you’re gay, it puts people off their food according to staff. Voir le carte

Went here for Sunday roast with the family. The atmosphere was very friendly with helpful staff. Roast was delicious, with all the trimmings. Will definitely come back!

Went to the three crowns for Valentines Day had to snatch up the 3 course meal for £25 deal. Super easy to book a table and staff are lovely and helpful! Definitely will visit again.

New head chef has transformed the food at the three crowns we have visited regularly over the last couple of months and never been disappointed. Cracking roasts, great value mid week specials and taste sensation brunches! Voir le carte

Thank you Miguel, our brilliant server who found us a table AND got our order in, even after last orders. What a legend! He was so attentive and welcoming, with a very friendly persona and lovely attitude to work even though he was tired! Thank you Miguel! And totally delicious burgers from Krapow!

We visited here on a Sunday lunchtime about 1pm recently. The place has a nice atmosphere and was busy. We all opted for the roast dinner which was very nice indeed. My only comment is that the service was a little slow. We had to chase up drinks and desert menus. The family on the next table waited over an hour for their main course. I think they could have done with more staff. The food was good though.

I've always really liked the pub but not necessary the food so i was really excited to hear about a new chef who has recently taken over. The food is so very very much better now! We went today (Sunday 24th June 2018) and had lunch (6 adults and 3 children). The dining space is relaxed and lovely and the staff were efficient and friendly. The food however was a complete pleasure and seems a world apart from the old roasts. The chef came and had a friendly chat and we all cleaned our plates clear and left feeling full and satisfied. The roast has a seasonal, summery air so not too heavy for a summery hot day and washed down with a lovely glass of wine it was perfect. I'm looking forward to my... Voir le carte
