"great pub, with a beautiful atmosphere. we love to eat in the ground floor, it has a nice feeling, more like restaurant. our normal visit is for Sunday dinner. it is good because they serve others, not only a roast that is great for our family, as not everyone wants the same. when you say that the majority for the traditional and it is beautiful. so tasty service is excellent, the girls work hard, which all added to the experience. we love our visit here"

Nice pub in a remote area of Buckhurst Hill. It is a bit cosy inside, but had a great atmosphere and good drinks. The garden area is very good and spacious.

fantastic pub with very friendly staff. eating is great cake, macular and liqueur is excellent. battered prawns to die. well earned 5 stars, recommended for all.

really nice eating and so friendly staff. the piemaic is like the famous restaurants pie mash. they come with a candle on my dessert when they heard that it bless my birthday.

had a fantastic meal with the family. friendly staff have made us feel at home. the food was excellent, very generous portions and we all eat very well! thank you to all the workers. will definitely return.

At first I thought this pub would be too small for me as it is run by one of Britain’s tiniest men but boy was I wrong! The pints are all 500ml plus, the toilets are all full size. Incredible experience and cannot wait to get back there again.

Lovely local, very friendly staff and they sell a good selection of food and drinks. If I HAD to give one criticism (and reason for 4 rather than 5 stars) it would be the value for money on sandwiches. Charging far too much if only being given run of the mill ready sliced white bread. Price warrants the options of panini/baguettes/bloomers.

Haven't been in here for some years. I have relations who have. Surprised of the space inside without being cramped in. A little tardis . A garden long with seating oh and outdoor telly. We did have sandwiches and drank plenty. We came by cab. A short walk to the station.
