The Tap managed a buffet for an event the food was absolutely lovely. Chicken wings, tayters, sandwiches chille, all very tasty. The staff were all really nice too! Shambolic! We arrived at 1930 for our table. on sitting down we waited to order our drinks, but then waited 45 minutes to order our meal; on ordering they didn 't have my first or second choice or my wife 's! This was our time to leave; I raised the issue with the owner who explained that they were 'phasing ' out dishes ready for new options in a week 's time, this could have been messaged on arrival!! I 'm a professional Chef and have been for 30 years so know how a kitchen should run, so this isn 't an ill informed review.
