Absolutely amazing food such large portions including kids meals. Very friendly local with great music and lovely vibe.

We stumbled upon this pub,it has a mix of young and older clientele. There was live entertainment and a large selection of beers,ciders and wines. We will definitely be back.

Found this lovely dog friendly pub whilst on a day trip to Hexham. Food was lovely, cheese burger and fries and salad, partner had a chicken wrap with fries. Good value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our dog was welcomed which is great

The ambiance of the restaurant was enjoyable, but unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. I would recommend avoiding the chili nachos as they were very disappointing. I regretted not asking for a refund. The burger was decent, but it seemed like the owner oversold the quality of the food.

When I visited the Tannery, I was expecting a traditional local pub, but was pleasantly surprised by its modern and stylish decor. Although we were initially put off by some rowdy patrons, the atmosphere became relaxing once they left. While it may not become my regular hangout spot, it was a pleasant place to visit with a variety of music playing in the background.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant when ordering a burger to share. The food was delicious and priced at £9.95. The Tex-Mex dish was overwhelming and we had to leave some, as we were not expecting such a large portion. The staff member was very helpful. This was our first time visiting, but we would definitely return in the future. Overall, everything from start to finish was excellent.

I was intending to only stay for some food and then head back for an early start tomorrow, however the delicious hunters chicken burger, and finding out there was an evening pub quiz, I stayed for the full enjoyable duration. The quiz consisted of a variety of different challenging rounds, from classics like general knowledge, movies, and an audio music round (I was surprised how tricky this round was), to more niche topics selected by the quizzers themselves (this week it was Skateboarding). I would only politely request a dooby prize for next time for last place. Thank you.

Visited tonight with my wife two daughters and grandson. Nice atmosphere about the place. Two pizza’s and two fish and chips ordered. Arrived very quick and delicious. Fish and chips are cheaper than a takeaway. Good size haddock in nice light crispy batter with hand cut chip’s mushy peas and a small side salad of homemade coleslaw. Amazing. Pizzas very large and again cheaper than any restaurant in Hexham. All washed down with Tannery Tipple golden ale. Lush. Grandson had a great time playing on a few ride on toys they had in the pub. Great to see the place busy again. Staff al very attentive without being over the top. Definitely will be back.

Amazing food and atmosphere plus very dog friendly! When eating out we can often find five adults, three children and two dogs stressful but not here. Such a chilled place which made it so welcoming and relaxing. The food was AMAZING, very generous portions and good value for money. We had pizzas which in our opinion were better than many Italian restaurants, chicken wraps which were packed full and delicious, huge fish and chips and amazing kids meals which left us all stuffed. Good prices and good beers too. Lots of couples/families with dogs, and although maybe basic in decor it’s all part of its charm. Lovely, friendly service too and we will definitely be back.
