Absolutely lovely food, I had mixed grill, Mrs had rump steak, both meals were delicious, great value too , the steak was spot on

What an absolute hole! The beer garden is absolutely covered in dog waste clearly hasn’t been cleaned in a while. Absolutely stinks

Could do with a good hoover,foods ok if you like freezer/ microwave food then young lady behind the bar is helpful and pleasant otherwise hardly any service to speak of

Staff very friendly really enjoyed working the door there over bank Holiday food looked amazing the landlords josh and josh are really nice guys too and I would work there on the door for them anytime

Brilliant food..Steak was cooked to perfection. We both like it well done, yet it was still juicy inside. Portion size was perfect lovely chips, but not too many, so clean plates went back. The staff are friendly and the pub is always clean and tidy. Excellent.

My wife and I always make a bee line for the Talbot due to the food after a day out in Cheshire. On the odd occasion we just travel there.. Why .. because they serve the best Steak pie around,and after a busy day, what a way to relax and chill. Highly recommended..cheers

I was looking for a real ale pub and another local pub suggested this place. On arrival there was only one on offer: Marston's Pedigree, that I ordered. The pub was nearly empty. Also I needed to use the men's toilet only to discover that there was no toilet paper. So I spoke to the barman who was chatting to the only other customer and he apologised but quickly rectified the issue. The lock on the cubicle was damaged so I used a foot to keep it closed. The damage appeared to be long term so needs to be addressed. The beer was okay at best plus after settling it was not quite a full pint. Not an issue as I only wanted one beer. Voir le carte
