"Just there for a meal only. Sadly it was very disappointing and I would not recommend based on our experience. Food drinks: The pub is very traditional and the furnishings are a little tired. We chose it because it was dog friendly and had reasonable/good reviews. But sadly the food we both ordered the special (braised beef with mushrooms and brandy gravy and bubble and squeak) was not good at all. The dish was a good sized portion with a generous plate of veg each but sadly the beef was not as described it was supposed to be slow braised but was quite tough and not falling apart as expected. No taste of brandy at all, quite peppery and too much salt in the gravy . But the worst part was the fat which had not rendered down and so had to try to cut the meat off the fat. Very offputting and was left with c40% fat on my plate at the end. The bubble and squeak was quite underwhelming and tasteless . Very disappointing I mentioned this but the waitress just said she’d tell the chef and came back with the card machine for payment. We are not local so won’t be returning but based on this meal, I would not recommend at all. Service: 3 Location: 3"

Stopped here randomly after a day mountain biking on the Malvern Hills. Great old fashioned British pub, friendly staff, very tasty and well priced food. Going back to take my parents soon. Recommended. Service: 5 Location: 5

Food drinks: We booked a table for four for an evening meal. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We had theatre tickets booked so had to be served promptly. The staff were fabulous. Quick service but not rushed. Would highly recommend and would definitely return when visiting the area in the future. Service: 5

My experience at the Swan Inn for Saturday lunch was fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the price was reasonable. The staff were friendly, quick, and efficient, allowing us to relax with a drink while we perused the menu. The starters were excellent, especially the curried chicken and coriander soup. The main courses, including curries and vegetarian options, were all very good. The homemade ice cream for dessert was outstanding. The rooms were pleasant and the facilities clean and comfortable.
