We had a lovely Family breakfast. Food was excellent, fresh and delicious. Buffet arrangement was a great idea and ideal for going up again! Thank you.

Amazing lunch with my husband and two dogs. I had a bacon brue cranberry baguette from the light menu and it was huge. The chicken burger was Massive. Great service. Dog friendly. Good value. We will return. Voir le carte

Visited the Swallowtail for Sunday lunch. At first glance you might think the menu was basic pub grub but it was fabulously delicious. We tried 2 of the sharing platters, chicken and fish and we ate almost every last crumb. Staff very friendly and service swift and attentive. Prices very reasonable too. Would definitely return and can recommend.

I had a great time at this restaurant. We came here in the evening for a meal, but have also stopped by for drinks during the day and the view is beautiful. I can only imagine that this place is bustling in the summer! The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. The only downside was that the coke was a little flat, but other than that, I couldn't find anything to complain about. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

Came here over easter with my wife, had a wonderful time. Two members of staff that looked after us especially well and made sure we got the best service possible, their names were Jess and Connie. My wife had the cod which was incredible and i had a steak which wasnt as good but i definitely want to try some more of the menu. We would recommend this to our family and friends after the great service we had as we only live a train journey away (billericay). Definitely worth it! Voir le carte

The location of this restaurant is incredible! With lovely views overlooking the river and a nice balcony with a sun shade, it's a clean and comfortable spot with plentiful parking. However, they consistently fail to stick to their published opening times. Despite visiting three times over the past two years, we've encountered closures or early closing each time, giving the impression that the staff are eager to leave. This inconsistency makes it challenging to plan a visit, so don't count on them being open even if they say they are!

On a sunny Sunday in February 2023, we found this restaurant while searching for places to eat in the area. Its location on the edge of Burnham Marina is simply superb. Although the restaurant was fully booked inside, we were able to dine on the first-floor balcony with fantastic views overlooking the Marina. The menu was extensive with options for everyone, and the staff made the experience special. Overall, it was a memorable visit and we will definitely be returning soon. An added bonus is that there is a lift to the first floor for those with mobility issues. The food was impeccable.

Had lunch at the Swallowtail with my partner and elderly mother. The view from the restaurant was lovely, looking out onto the yacht club and river Crouch. The staff were very friendly and extremely efficient. The food was fabulous. We had great starters and plumped for the sharing platters between the 3 of us (fisherman's platter and mixed chicken platter) the food was hot, fresh and very tasty. And although we all have great appetites we had more than enough delicious food. We did manage fabulous deserts. My mother is not too good on her feet but this was no problem as there is a lift to the first floor restaurant. We will return to try more of the menu and are happy to recommend Voir le carte
