"We had a fantastic evening in a stunning, one-of-a-kind setting. It was a great idea to repurpose the station house and carriages. The food was top-notch, although some dishes may be on the more expensive side for budget-conscious diners. However, the children's menu is quite reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. This dining experience will definitely be a highlight of our time in Dorset. Overall rating for the food: 5 stars."

Just had a Sunday roast with the wife in one of the train carriages. The food was very nice and the service was excellent. A unique setting as well to eat. We will make a point of retuning as we enjoyed it very much. P.s. The local beer wasn't too shabby either...... Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Sunday lunch was very poor, undercooked roast potatoes and the meal swimming in a gravy, which tasted as if it were made from low quality gravy granules, which in turn swamped the taste of the rest of the food. Amazing food experience- undeniable- after a rather frosty greeting. Service was mixed dare I say it quality could have been better) but I’m not sure I’d have noticed if our welcome had been warm! The Station Kitchen is a fantastic dining spot with a delicious Sunday roast that is cooked perfectly. The staff is lovely and the service is fast. I have already made a reservation for next Sunday.
