"Really good service ,especially considering the place was full. Wide selection of choice all of which were very tempting . We had 4 meat 1 fish and 3 veg nearly all of the dishes were better than good. Main niggles were potato bravas not so clever also chicken skewers a bit dry. All the dishes came to the table at the same time which meant a very cluttered table ,with food going cold personally we prefer the dishes staggered so hot when eating. Fully appreciate the difficulty in keeping track of orders and we were impressed that all the food hit the table hot on initial serving . Sum up staff brill ,food better than good and venue one of the best in Bridgend would we go there again ? Definitely Choice dishes for me were sea bass, chicken in bbq, pork belly (my fav on night) ,flatiron steak, and coli flour"

"Absolutely top notch! I visited with friends under their recommendation. I was thinking of having a pizza, but this restaurant does not seem to do pizza. However, thoughts of pizza were soon forgotten when I ordered a pasta dish off the menu. The food is fantastic. The atmosphere is great. And I really like the fact they don't rush you. We were the last people in the restaurant, and they were not in a hurry for us to leave. If you want to eat in a classy place and have wonderful food and atmosphere, this may well be the place for you. I would say, make sure you book beforehand!"

"Anyone who thinks this is a good Sunday lunch must be a non cook as at £140 for a table of 4 with drinks) was so inferior to my wife's cooking the chef should be embarrassed to serve it. The beef was tough, the roast potatoes tasted like the frozen variety and not proper gravy. Worst of all the vegetables were all served in one bowl between four people so it was impossible to be selective as you could serve up soggy cauliflower cheese which carrots, peas etc. in one scoop. When we complained about the vegetables the chef must have taken exception as they brought out a huge bowl carrots. I did not want to leave a review but as I wrote to Leicester's and received no reply I thought others needed to aware before booking."

"So came here last night 13th oct. 9 of us 2 of which 2 young kids. Had starter , calamari this was ok, sauce was nice. Main was lovely which was lasagne really quite tasty it came with chips which were nothing special if im honest, i ordered a side of garlic bread with it which was nice, The host was a nice guy very chatty, the staff seemed a little clumsy if im honest, just as we sat down a tray of drinks went down the back of my sister because the waitress wasn't looking what she was doing although accidents do happen so no biggy, although I will say nothing was offered! No extra drinks, a free starter, nothing!!! This brings me on to the cost. Not much beer choice at all, consisting of draught peroni which was are you sitting down) £6.50 a pint! So I ordered a bottle of bishops finger which i thought was a 500ml bottle, it didn't say on the menu the size of the drink which i think it should have, Well the bottle came and it was a 330ml bottle!! £4.70 for a 330ml bottle!!! im sorry but thats to much, come on guys. We all had a starter and a main with dessert each, i had the newyork cheesecake, which was ok but tasted abit like something frozen, didn't seem home made to me anyway. The Total bill came to just over £400!!! £60 of which was a service charge i was told by someone on the table, but the owner has now said that there was no service charge so if this is the case then i apologise), we were a decent size group but you know when you've gone somewhere and feel that the cost is just too much. Nice restaurant but too expensive imo."

"Came here for a date night. Beautiful restaurant, fantastic food and very generous portions. We didn't stay the night but if the restaurant is anything to go by, I can imagine the hotel rooms being very grand. Food drinks: Beautifully presented food, wide selection and fast service. Best meal we've had locally for some time. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5"
