The service from the serving and bar staff was exceptional!

The Spring Tavern were excellent on Mothers Day. OpenTable were not. They had not actually booked the table with the restaurant. We were still given a table, and treated wonderfully.

Food and service was good. As expected not more. Service very friendly and accommodating All good but for me 5* is if there is added extra that you weren’t expecting This was as expected very good.

I always have a great time at this restaurant. I visited on Father's Day and enjoyed the set menu, which offered excellent value for the price and had a variety of delicious options. The ambiance was charming, with beautiful light fixtures adding to the overall atmosphere.

An excellent meal spoilt by disappointing service. The wrong drink was delivered, and we had to ask 3 times for tap water. My steak arrived without sauce or side dish, and by the time they were produced my meal was merely warm. But, as I have said, the food itself was very enjoyable.

The food at this restaurant was excellent and we were happy with the location of our table. However, on a Friday night, there was only one waitress working in the dining area, which resulted in understaffing. We had to keep going to the bar to get her attention in order to place our orders. The manager should consider adding more staff to improve the dining experience.

My rump steak was small and cooked over well done when asked for medium, chips were overcooked too. Partner's roast chicken was dry and veg overcooked. Terrible for the price and had my meal refunded. Restaurant was only about 10% full which is telling considering it was a Sunday afternoon. Only bright spot was the good service. Needless to say we won't be back, which is a shame given the two good meals we had previously.

I popped into this pub a few months ago for a quick drink with friends on the way to the train station at the end of a London loop walk. It looked nice and the restaurant seemed popular so I made a mental note to go back at some point as my mother lives locally (I live in North London). So last weekend I took my mum for Sunday lunch. Sadly the food was very poor. Sunday lunch really isn't that difficult to do well but what was served lacked care and attention to detail and quality ingredients.

I’ve sent a message via FACEBOOK.. Asking for the managers details, I’ve never experienced such poor quality Roast Dinners, the food was undercooked, apart from the beef Pork all of which was saturated in Rice Gravy... to hide the horrendous meal that was served... Food was sent back and replaced by a meal very similar to the one previously returned..... We wasn’t charged for the meal.... However the waiter himself was very apologetic, as it wasn’t his fault, it’s very efficient this is poorly managed and the chef needs a cookery lesson... I had previously attended around 7 months ago, where there was a lovely manager who was so efficient, I cannot and willnot recomend the Spring Tavern to a...
