Went in for a special birthday lunch just before Christmas. The pub decorations were lovely, it gave the pub a cosy look and a nice feel. The lunch was lovely.

Nice enough main road pub, ok stop at end of several walks in area as well as a bus stop so handy. Not much vegan choice on menu sadly and not overly confident to check with the younger bar person. Still nice stop for a drink Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Stayed at this pub for one night, great room, great food, and a decent breakfast, and on Monday night they have a quiz night, which was brilliant, good friendly atmosphere, friendly staff, and a handy covered bar outside for us smokers. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Voir le carte

What a lovely place to stay in we was shown to our room and that was really nice the room was nice and clean, we couldn't hear the pub downstairs so that was great we had a lovely meal , the bed was big but just needs a mattress topper to make the bed comfy Price per person: £100+ Food: 5

Mixed reaction on this visit. First time we've been to the spiced ship. Food was nice but the service was shocking. From the moment we got into the pub we had to arrange our own drinks, food and even to pay the bill at the end. Some of the staff were all over the place as if they weren't sure what they were meant to be doing. It was a shame as like I said the food was good, just poor service. Price per person: £20–30

Whilst on holiday at the nearby haven site, we drove to the pub as im in a stroller and can’t walk far. The staff greeted us at the doing and soon found us a table for 3. Me and the wife ordered sunday dinnet whilst my son with autism ordered a veggie dinner. The meal was massive and well worthy of the price. I could only eat half of mine so asked if they had a container so I could take it back to the caravan to which the chef soon boxed up for me wihout any fuss, to which I microwaved the following day for my evening meal. I would fully recommend this pub and would definitely go in again when on holiday again Voir le carte
