"One of our two local pubs in Woodchurch. Food, Beer and Wine, they have a Great Selection. The staff are very welcoming and attentive, the atmosphere is really great, a real old fashioned English Pub which has a lot going on throughout the year. Beer Festivals, Live Bands, Morris Dancers, Quizes, Hog Roasts and of course their superb Sunday Roast. Very reasonable prices as well. A beautiful old pub with a lovely warm welcome. To see a pub open at 12 on a Tuesday and have a regular crowd attend is a joy to see. Even though we weren't locals, the staff were extremely welcoming, and the food served was delicious. The pub itself had loads of original features and a gorgeous open fireplace that was warming on a winters afternoon. Will definitely pop in again if passing. Price per person: £10–20
