"Found this pub of the main route into Cheltenham . Well sign posted. Cosy and welcoming fire. mixed tables and seating areas. Enjoyed the Homemade Faggots(local butchers) with Mash and peas. Generous portion of South fried Chicken Panini with chips, coleslaw salad . Hot and very tasty . Nice choice of beers and soft drinks. Noticed outside seating and tables, will return when the sun is out! Friendly staff. Very clean toilets."

We went here for a Sunday lunch and it was great. Good portion sizes, really tasty, and the meat was very tender. Would recommend!

Great portions! Filling Sunday roast. Would definitely return. The all meats roast is delicious, I sit here dreaming of eating all that food now!

Booked a table in advanced to celebrate a birthday. Once our food order was placed it took 60mins before our food arrived. The batter on the fish was a bit stodgy.

Excellent food at the shutters, Sunday Roast was amazing, as was the other choices our table made. Slightly longer wait for the food than expected but it was worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back

Good simple food done well. Very tasty, well cooked and huge portions... The staff are very attentive and polite. The choice of drinks is extensive. We live locally and genuinely recommend this place.

Brought the family for a relaxed late afternoon Sunday lunch. It’s quieter later on (serves till 6:30) and I was reminded how great this place is. All fresh, home cooked, even the sweets. Note to self to come more often.

Excellent value for money, a really tasty steak with no skimping on the accompanying chips, onion rings, mushrooms and tomato. In these difficult times all credit to those who go out of their way to provide good service and value.

We had the grandchildren visiting for bank holiday and so I was looking for a suitable pub to have lunch at. I knew the Shutters has a nice garden and so we went there. What a bonus to find a bouncy castle. The children loved it which, of course, meant that we adults had a good time. The children also enjoyed their meal from the children's menu while I really loved my lamb burger.
