"Restaurant Review: Disappointing Experience Overall Our recent visit to this restaurant, which we hadn't been to in some time, was unfortunately underwhelming. The meal was a letdown, marked by poor and tasteless food. We ordered the chilli beef salad, which was passable, but the hoisin duck pizza was outright terrible. The Aperol Spritz we ordered to accompany our meal was also poorly prepared, lacking the correct balance of ingredients. Despite our initial hesitations about dessert, we decided to give it a try after a long day at the beach. We opted for the Eton Mess and specifically asked if it was made with fresh cream, to which the waitress assured us it was. However, what arrived at the table was a strange version of the dessert, featuring sorbet and other unusual ingredients that did not work well together. It's a shame because the restaurant has great potential—the decor gives the place a fantastic vibe. However, the state of the restrooms was appalling, with both the gents' and ladies' facilities clearly neglected and in disarray by 7:30 pm. This establishment needs a serious overhaul in terms of menu development, focusing on fresh, local produce to deliver a more authentic and enjoyable dining experience. The foundation is there, but it requires significant attention to detail and quality to truly shine."

Great staff and amazing food. Steak and ale Pie was lovely, great atmosphere and dog friendly. We visited as a family with 3 dogs

Lovely lunch on Friday . Place is really welcoming and cosy . Great menu , plenty of choice for food and drink and staff very friendly and attentive. Cannot fault. Really enjoyed it

We have eaten lunch here twice this year. Once in April and again in May. Both times we have been impressed with the food, the service and the prices. We would certainly eat here again.

The lady who met us at the desk was quite abrupt and her first comment was”you’ve got 2 hours”. The young girl who delt with our food order was polite and professional. Lucy Jones well done

Food ok soup lovely,pizza fine nachos nice although think they had run out of guacamole as it was absent.Service ok staff friendly enough although a simple goodbye and a smile would’ve been nice on exit.

What a pleasant surprise …. Lovely location with friendly staff and good pub grub recommend the pizzas and the chips were lovely and crisp. Doggy station was also well equipped a must for our thirsty border collie

We popped in to the Seacroft last minute for a Sunday Lunch. The service was fantastic. The sunday lunch was delicious, we also had a hunters chicken which was also very nice. There was slight confusion with the bill which was resolved straight away. very welcoming, professional staff. Highly recommend.

Been here before but quite a while ago. Read the recent reviews so we a bit dubious about going. Need not have worried. Husband had the calamari for starters followed by the gammon steak. I had pate and the fish burger. All was lovely. Piping hot (apart from the pate obviously). Great service and friendly staff. Would totally recommend this place. Went around 1pm and was pretty quiet

Booked a table over the phone and very easy to get a table and had disabled access confirmed as one of our party in a wheelchair. The ramp at the rear is great for access but is a bit steep when leaving. Our table was then a raised one with a tight fit, considering we had a disabled person this showed little consideration really and we had to ask for another more suitable table. We then had to wait for too long and ended up going to the bar for drinks, poor service really. The lad then serving our table didn’t know what the soup was and had to go and find out. The menu isn’t the best but our mains were over cooked and the chips were hard and likely reheated. We have used Seacroft in the past...
