"Cute little sandwich bar opposite the Claonaug ferry in Lochanza. Huge, genrously filled hot smoked Skipness salmon. Sublime smoky and most fish an addition of cream cheese and pickled cucumber makes the sandwich. Of course, there is more of the island star Bakehouse bread. Delicious really is an understatement. Big enough for 2, worth every penny. Other tasty sandwiches are also available. Lovely lady owner who likes a natter"

Just passing Arran and remembering going to the sandwich station 4 years ago. The kids still talk about it- best sandwiches we’ve ever had. We’ll be back!

What a great find. Truly the best sandwich I've ever had. An amazing list of sandwiches. 8f you find yourself at the north of the island then go treat yourself.

£2.75 for the smallest flat white £7.00 for the cheapest sandwich. I know prices have increased but this must be the most expensive carry-out sandwich and coffee in Scotland never mind Arran.

Simply stunning, genuinely the best and most unusual sandwiches we’ve ever had. Broccoli with babaganush, goats cheese with apple and ginger chutney, stunning cakes. Amazing find we’ll be back before we head home from holiday, thank you!

We sat in the sun, admiring the views eating the very best sandwiches ever, after reading the recent reviews we hoped it would be good and boy did it meet our hopeful expectations. Lovely service, amazing food, will recommend to anyone visiting Arran.

Stopped here for a coffee and sandwich while waiting for the ferry, expecting the usual toastie sandwich. Totally blown away by the spiced pork focaccia absolutely delicious. The flat white coffee also lovely. Price was totally reasonable. Will find an excuse to get back to Lochranza to have another sandwich!

We had been told to visit for the best sandwiches not just on the Island, not just in Scotland but probably the UK. We were not disappointed. A wonderful array of sandwiches served on a variety of fresh breads with super local quality ingredients. Particular favourites were the ham and mustard and cheese and onion marmalade. All served by a super friendly and welding couple. A must visit

Absolutely Superb location to enjoy The World's Finest homemade sandwiches using local ingredients made with love. They were excellent and huge thanks to Miss Cote D Azur and her top team!!! My husband had the Ayrshire Ham Sandwich and says it is the best he has ever had. I had the Magnificent hot smoked salmon with mayo on foccacia and it was truly wonderful. Keep up the fantastic work and see you next time !

Called into the Sandwich Station three times during our 5 day stay on Arran! Could have tried everything off the menu, all served on proper bread. The warm pork shoulder and slightly warmed ham ones ended up being our “go to” choices. Each with tasty mayonnaise and dressings absolutely delicious all round. As some have said not the cheapest but to be honest when the food is of this high standard, it’s worth it.

"Magic sea. we went about 6 months ago after fins had threatened for years. that was worth waiting for us to arrive a little early before they had changed the prices on the boards, that was lucky because they had the decision to offer us the meal times at the price at the arrival, result. to every way back to the foods that the woman had the scalopps and black pudding and I had the langoustines. I was a little confused by the cutlery laid in front of me, pliers and a funny fork, but it was good when I asked the waitress what I should do with it and she showed me pretty happy. the scallops were amazing and it was that really beautiful black pudding so a great start for them. what had done me well, I had never eaten longoustine before, but I had to go right in and it was a great experience and the taste was just beautiful. large mmmm in our bauch. the most important courses were turbot for me and the missus chose the sea bass. the food was beautifully presented and it was smaller that I thought it was, but I had never eaten somewhere in that posh before. Anyway, both can have beautiful vegien and we both came into them and we were not dissappointed it was perfectly cooked. the turbot was the softest spruce I've ever had and the taste was amazing. the sea bass came with I think noodles and she loved it. everything was beautiful and relaxed and none of the unem emphasized that you sometimes find when you can be a little bit on yourself in the leading restaurants, but here it was not at all. about all this was a nice place to eat, a wee bit expensive but they get great service and beautiful environment. dylan"
