"Jayne and her team are wonderful; they truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and nothing is ever too much trouble! There’s always a smile and a friendly face to greet you. I dine there with friends at least once a week, and the food is fantastic—generous portions at reasonable prices. They strictly follow all social distancing guidelines, and the staff is dedicated to ensuring these measures are upheld. I highly recommend it! The garden looks beautiful when lit up in the evening, with the canal flowing through it. I’ve enjoyed many lovely nights with friends in the beer garden. You all do an incredible job during these challenging times! And the homemade desserts are simply amazing!"

We’ve had an awesome family night out Celebrating my birthday. Great friendly bar staff. Fab food good play area for the kids. Plenty of outside tables so you can sit by and keep an eye on them. Good prices.

Went for a beef roast today and it was lovely. The atmosphere is so homely and welcoming and the staff are very helpful. The landlady is a lovely lady and was very helpful and accomodating. Will deffo go back. Was worried that my 2yr old wouldn't stay seated for long but they had a fab activity bag for the kids which helped alot.

I had a delicious lunch today! The portions were great, offering excellent value for money. We started with baked Camembert served with fresh warm bread, followed by the chicken pie and a bacon burger. Everything was so tasty that we couldn't finish it all! The staff were very friendly and welcoming as well. It’s a fantastic place to take the kids and the dog! I’ll definitely be coming back!
