quaint old pib, friendly staff, great rugby crowd.... protect! have never seen it in the U.K. normally costs £300 a pint (back flights to portugal).

Really lovely landlady. Nice little selection of hand-pulled real ales. Proper pub that also does grub. Very welcoming and interesting old place. Well worth a visit, or three .

fantastic, great staff beautiful eating and excellent beer. I can honestly say I have never tasted a better bacon and brie baguette in my life, and I was back near the block and back.

Had a very late lunch at the pub. Food was freshly cooked so piping hot with ample portions. Staff friendly and tables cleared quickly. I had the ham, egg and chips, hubby had scampi, which we both enjoyed.

Had lunch at the Bear today with a group of walkers. I cannot speak too highly about this experience. The food was well presented, at a reasonable price, while the service, provided by Charlotte, was second to none. We all felt very Covid safe. Well done to the Bear! We will be returning!!

they stopped here a little bit by noon as they allow dogs. menu was limited, but had to eat my wife and I were happy to order. beautiful traditional art pub with open log fire and a relaxed atmosphere. at £23 for two drinks and two jackenkartoffels we left full and very happy with the price.
