"Took advantage of the Groupon Sunday Roast deal. Had a late guest join us and paid full price for them. The Sunday Roast is listed at £18 per head. With the Groupon deal it was £24 for 2, so a savingings of £6 per head. The food was well prepared. The service was courteous and efficient and the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall the meal was enjoyable. Two of us had the crumble desert and it was generous and delicious. There was only a small disappointed ant that was with the small portion of beef we received. This is perfectly understandable when you take the resent cost of living crisis into account and the percentage that promoters like Groupon take of the fee...So next time we will book directly and pay list price to get the full experience.
