Plates definitely didn't seem prewarmed and things like cauli cheese would normally come with a warning to be careful of the hot dish. We did enjoy our meals very much though and will come again. We visited the Royal Oak as they had a comedy night on and we had impromptu dinner. WOW! I had steak and ale pie which was incredible and my husband had fish and chips- equally as good! Will definitely be returning to try the Sunday roast! Highly recommend
