We had a lovely lunch today,with friendly staff and great food..the views from our table were absolutely amazing ...will be back soon

we moved to devon 4 months ago we went in there yesterday and had the crab starter which was really nice you can see why it was so busy would recommend it to anyone in the area

The restaurant is a beautiful, fresh spot with a magnificent view overlooking Instow. The roast beef meal I had on Sunday was the best dish I've experienced in a long time. I highly recommend this place and wish the owners all the success they deserve. Voir le carte

We had Sunday lunch here today (2Ad, 2Ch) Absolutely delicious food, friendly staff and even though it was raining the view was still stunning from the restaurant . Thank you for making this a lovely birthday treat for me too. Feeling full and relaxed now perfect

I was very impressed! The food and service were excellent. The view of the estuary and Instow is perfect. It's a fantastic place, and I'm thrilled that the old pub was transformed with such a positive vision for the future. This definitely adds to the appeal of the area. Thank you so much!

We had the most delicious lunch here. Amazing food and service. The views were fabulous too. We had a dog with us so limited to downstairs only, but completely understand that! Not everyone likes dogs. Was a little more expensive than your usual pub grub but absolutely worth it. Would definitely return and recommend. Voir le carte

I just enjoyed a wonderful Sunday lunch—the roast beef was perhaps the best I've ever had, and others in our group raved about the lamb. The desserts were fantastic as well, particularly the sticky toffee pudding, plum and apple crumble, and the panna cotta topped with roasted peaches and pistachios. The view from the upstairs balcony by the water is amazing, and the bill was quite reasonable. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

my man and I booked a table last night, and our table was booked for 7 o'clock. when we came there, we were greeted immediately, with a smile and shown on our table. the service was the first class, and the eating was simply amazing, and the view of the table where we were sitting was breathing. the place itself, is also amazing, beautifully created, much space, and everything was just wonderful. the service, the food, the place and the view. and the prices are very good. a visit is great and we will return in contradiction. Thank you.

wow! garth and his bands have made a wonderful job that restored this old appledore pub and reworked. tastefully decorated in the battleship gray with steam-punk fittings, there is a feeling of space and cozyness as they enter. the sleeper on the left side will be a combed place in winter. the upper floor has a restaurant area, a covered area with view of the mouth and an open area. a wonderful place for our post-lunch pint. we did not eat, but the menu looks great, very cheap and changed every day to reflect catches/season stuff. we're coming back!
