"A great welcoming local pub with fantastic food and lovely vibe. We were a party of 5 and went primarily for a few drinks, but thought we 'd try a few starters. We were so glad we did Everything was delicious, and even the salad was lovely. Not just something pulled out of a bag and thrown next to the food, but lovely in of itself. The coated crispy prawns were perfect and crisp yet not 'greasy ' at all. The pate was lovely with the onion chutney Literally all the individual elements added to the overall meal and were tasty all by themselves. Leek and Stilton soup Perfect. It was all so nice we ordered mains a good while later too. All of them arrived piping hot and were so delicious. We were not rushed, but instead allowed to simply relax and chat and then order from the lovely staff when we were ready. There was a good crowd of 'regulars ' but unlike other local bars there was no feeling of it being a closed clique We felt just like any other regular as soon as we walked in. We met one of the owners (Shannon? who introduced herself and made sure we were having a lovely evening Which we were! All in all, it was everything you 'd hope a local pub would be if it was doing everything right, which the team here clearly are. Thank you for a wonderful evening, and now we 've found you we will certainly be back!"

came for Mother's Day 11.3.18 and booked a table for 3 : we had a nice roast, which was delicious roast chicken and frying lamb: we really enjoyed our eating and are regular customers in the roundbush. great eating, great, helpful and friendly staff: we will definitely be time and time again. thanks for the great service. one of our favorite pubs and we brought my fathers.
