"We have often found tasting menu experiences overly long. Too many places that offer tasting menus design their food to be technically clever, rather than satisfying the motivation to eat in the first place. I appreciate that our enjoyment of food has a huge amount to do with our ‘appetite’ in the moment. How we feel, our mood, affecting how receptive we are to the restaurant’s efforts. So, maybe we went to this cosy, welcoming restaurant in a good mood, but we found the food both delicious and memorable. So much so I forgot to take photos of the two most successful courses I had never had hake served so tastily, and with a chicken broth! Venison, rolled in coffee ? was surprisingly tender and the cheese course was a novel success. If how memorable a dinner is, is a measure of its quality, then Scorrybreac deserves all of its Michelin accolades."

"I've been eating a couple of lunches today and bought a fresh scrap sandwich and a drink. the choice here is just great and the sandwich was prepared for me while I waited. it was absolutely delicious! here is a fantastic selection of freshly prepared meals. relish also has a seating area and located directly on the road, I don't need an excuse to dive back soon! fantastic. I could resist the fresh cream cake this time, but I don't think I would do it again, it looked amazing! thank you all."

"faster and friendly service. the food was excellent, so can see why it was completely booked in the evening we went. one of us had the special starter of skalopps with smoked muzhny butter, apple and black pudding. very tasty. two had the blade of the bark with glazed/curved carrot, maic, pfeffer corn sauce, baby wobble (the bark was excellent). they had grilled salmon, roasted potato, confiscated tomato and lemon butter sauce. I had crispy pork bell, pancetta wrapped lull, apple slices and sauce, gravy, isle of skye black pudding. sticky toffe pudding with sesam snap, miso butterscotch sauce, salted caramel ice cream was best. the baked cheesecake with custard cream, strawberry and ice cream was nice. definitely recommend."

"I stayed for two nights this month. The place is clean, the bed is comfortable and it's in desperate need of fresh paint and carpeting. I had breakfast twice, I appreciate their flexibility in what you order, but I was underwhelmed. The tomatoes, mushrooms, hash browns had all spent too long on a steam table. It wasn't horrible, but I wouldn't go back. There is a pub downstairs night one it was not an issue, but on my second night there was a Rugby Cup match. There was no way anyone could sleep until the wee hours of the morning. This is the nature of their establishment, I don't think they could have prevented it but if I'd known I was sleeping over the pub, I probably would not have stayed. Rooms: 3 Service: 3 Location: 5"

"In the middle of the port of portree, with sea views and aromas, we find one of the best places to eat fish and local seafood sea breezes (brisas marinas) is a small place and collected with a very personalized service. In addition to eating local and very fresh products, the kitchen is excellent and the price of quality ratio is very convenient the bass, mussels, oysters, the special dish of the house (marisco) and even salmon. There are options for meat (of great quality) but considering where we are, the best choice are the sea products if we walk through the fishing port, on more than one occasion we will see how a boat arrives and downloads directly into this charming restaurant for lovers of this type of cuisine, on the island of skye, without a doubt this is the place to visit."
