Breakfast is average at best with soggy eggs Benedict. Most other items just heated up and served. Not bad for a sandwich as a light lunch but better options available locally. Exceptionally slow service.

good sitting place on the river. quiche and salat were delicious. the service was mixed. a person attentive and friendly. a further member of the staff a little abrasiw and felt somewhat awkward with the order of coffee after lunch. dog-friendly. access level.

After spending four days in Dartmoor, we returned to Ivybridge in search of a hearty breakfast before catching our train. Rochelle's more than delivered. A friend recommended that I visit Rochelles for brunch saying the chef was French and he made a great croque monsieur. Wow, this place was packed at 11am on a Thursday and i had to queue for a table. Great menu choice but I came for one dish only....., the French chef made the best croque monsieur I have ever tasted, truly delicious. Despite being full the service was exceptional with 4 waitresses busy with happy customers. Upon leaving I asked to see the chef, yes he was French and I told him how great his sandwich was. Definitely worth another visit.

I treated my mother and a few friends to lunch by the river for a birthday celebration. It was a beautiful day and enjoying delicious food by the river was truly delightful. The French owner was lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We all started with the delicious soup and potato soup. For our main course, we all enjoyed the fish and chips with light and crispy batter and crunchy, flavorful chips. There was not a single bite left on our plates. For dessert, one of us had the medallion with fresh summer berries and Devonshire cream, which was fantastic. The charming French owner, along with the helpful and pleasant staff, made our experience even more enjoyable. We all started with the leek and potato soup, which was delightful.
