We decided to stop by this restaurant one evening without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised. We received a warm welcome and were seated right away. Our drinks were even taken at the table. The food was delicious and we were looked after by a polite young man. We even had a nice chat with the owner about his long-term plans for the restaurant. Went for food and a pint. The Guinness was not good lots of bubbles which is never a good sign and the taste was as I expected poor. Would give that 4/10. Had the beef burger which was ok. A long wait of 50 mins from when I got in to actually having the food. The place was clean inside but staff could be more professional the owner in shorts and a t shirt. Friendly enough but I will try elsewhere next time. Service: 3 Location: 4

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant a couple of nights ago. The service was excellent, the prices were fair, the portions were generous, and overall it was a lovely evening. The staff were friendly and professional, yet also approachable and easy to have a laugh with. I highly recommend trying the buffalo wings, they were fantastic. As for the comment about the Guinness, I personally thought it was perfect. I believe the more head on a Guinness, the better. The entire meal was delicious and we will definitely be returning soon. I've just had a takeaway Sunday lunch, and l must say it's the best **** takeaway Sunday lunch lve ever had... It was huge to begin with, Came in a lovely BIG square foil takeaway container... Was very hot, so travelled well to my plate at home... it consisted of : 3 huge roasties, Loadsa meat (l had lamb) A large triangle of stuffing... Cauliflower cheese, Parsnip and Swede Carrots x 2 ways Green Beans and lashings of gravy... It was so delicious... l couldn't eat it all... my only fault l could find is that l forgot to ask for Mint Sauce... this is my second time of having their Sunday lunch and hasn't failed either time....
