"I don't even know where to begin... The first time we visited this restaurant was during a music night with friends in the first week of new management. After reading some negative reviews, I was a bit hesitant, but the place was packed, the music was great, and the food was amazing. It was delicious, plentiful, and had a wide variety of choices. Due to Covid, we didn't return until recently. My husband surprised me with lunch one Sunday after I had been working in the morning. The staff and manager were super friendly and accommodating. The menu was excellent. The first week, I tried the vegetarian option, a pie with roast potatoes and vegetables, that was bursting with flavor and the best vegetarian pie I have ever had, washed down with a pint. The following Sunday, we returned for a traditional roast beef "proper Sunday lunch," as my husband called it. The portion was huge, the roast beef was tender, the Yorkshire pudding was huge, and the roasted vegetables were the best I've ever had. It was a perfect way to end a busy Sunday morning. I look forward to many more visits and thank the staff and management for taking care of us. Definitely worth a visit, especially for breakfast. The vegetarian options are tasty, well-presented, generous portions, and reasonably priced."

Amazing debut. Delicious Sunday roast. High-quality ingredients and the most amazing cheese sauce in town. The staff is incredible and truly knows their stuff. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Nice place, clean and very friendly staff. Just too pricey for what it is on food. Lunch menu: Kids meal any meal on menu £8, Adults lunch menu only a choice of burgers £15, served just burger and chips.

This place is a fantastic find! A must-visit on our list of favorite pubs. The food is delicious, the beer selection is top-notch, and the atmosphere is just perfect. We will definitely be returning soon.

I hadn't been to this restaurant since before Covid, and Colin and Tara have really stepped up their game. We decided to go for Sunday lunch and it was absolutely fantastic! We were fortunate that they had a table available for us even though we hadn't booked in advance, so I would recommend calling ahead to make a reservation. I'm excited to take advantage of their loyalty card, where we get a free roast meal every fifth visit. The price per person is between £20-30 and the food quality is a solid 5/5.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! It's a great pit stop and definitely worth adding to our list of places to revisit. The food was delicious, the beer selection was impressive, and the service was top-notch. We visited again in September 2023 just to confirm that it was still as amazing as before, and we were pleased to find that it was. It seems like it may have changed ownership, but the quality has remained excellent. The average price per person was between £10-20, and we would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a solid 5 out of 5. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that we highly recommend.
