"This is a cute little cafe with lovely staff but the prices are reasonably high and I agree with previous reviewer the breakfast is not freshly cooked. Sausage was very browned from sitting in heat too long , bacon was dry and hard, homemade baked beans were mush in a small container and mushrooms withered . Eggs were obviously freshly cooked but on one piece of over toasted bread. Not very enjoyable. I think if you are going to charge over £16 for this plate of food and a cup of tea it needs to be much much better. Won't be returning for this reason. For this price there are too many other options with better standards."

We often visit this restaurant for breakfast and lunch, and once again, we were not let down. From the warm welcome to the incredibly tasty food, this place continues to be one of our top choices.

You can tell the ingredients used at the Hive are top notch the bread, coffee, bacon eggs, sausages all delicious. Great ambience with a relaxing music soundtrack. Service efficient and friendly. Heartily recommended

This was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The food and coffee were delicious, the service was fantastic. We ended up going back twice because we enjoyed it so much. I highly recommend trying everything on the menu - all dishes are made with fantastic ingredients and taste great.

Very friendly staff and great service. We arrived just after they opened and ordered the cooked breakfast, which arrived within a few minutes. All the food had been precooked a long time before. It was not the best quality, we would have preferred the food cooked to order as we were not in any rush. Voir le carte

We received the warmest of welcomes as we were greeted and given a table to enjoy a light lunch whilst visiting the Cotswolds. We both had the frittata which was OK, but the real star was the choice of salads that came with it. Very tasty indeed! Fantastic, welcoming service and great food and coffee. Thank you.

We stumbled across The Hive and we are so glad we did. The food was incredible (my first ever Rarebit) and the caramel latte was one of the best I’ve had. The staff were super friendly and the interior was modern and homely at the same time. Would definitely recommend to family and friends who visit the Cotswolds.

A really nice, family-run business with friendly and polite staff. I think I had the best brunch of my life here, the smoked salmon was delicious, the avocado toast had a thick layer of avocado on top. All the ingredients felt high quality and fresh, I defenetly recommend a visit to this fantastic restaurant! 5/5 for sure! Voir le carte

Popped in on Saturday for a quick bite to eat and a coffee. Food was absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend the rarebit we were too full to fit in cake so took a slice away with us. Great selection of food (spotted they had lots of vegan and GF options too), cakes were amazing, staff super friendly and prices reasonable. Will definitely return!

We had just spent an enjoyable hour at Daylesford and decided to stop in Stow for lunch. The traffic was awful but we managed to park on the high street and searched for somewhere to eat. We stumbled into the Hive and I am so glad that we did . The welcome was friendly and the food frittata and salads was exceptional, so fresh and tasty. I wholeheartedly recommend this cafe

"I had been in this pub for a while, but my family and I were on the way from cheltenham to Westonbirt at 17 o'clock and called for an early dinner. all four of us said that the meal was faultless, we enjoyed all three courses and cannot praise this place enough. such a great atmosphere, cordial greeting from the incredibly fabulous staff and a seat directly at the log tariff. what more can they demand. it is easy to find, beautiful location and has plenty of parking right next to the pub. in summer there is a large garden back. in februar this is the place to eat when they go to visit the colesbourne snowdrop gardens that are right in front of the house and not to miss. the menu at the colesbourne inn is huge and offers for everyone something wonderful, regardless of their taste or nutrition to choose. my calamari ‘Bar Bite’ size starter was superb and definitiw a greater part than we expected. the other appetizers, a black bell and black pudding with fried egg was superb as well as the bread selection we also ordered. mostly fish Pie....only full of a lot of different fish and whistle fish. my son had the steak and ale pier he claimed he was the best he had eaten in a very long time. two of us had the nut roast dinner.... I want my Christmas dinner to be as good as that. desserts of fruit crumbs and custard finished the meal with the obligatory glass or two of fizz. for each device in these times to offer this incredible selection of oriented, which is an absolute credit for them by the most kind of employees ever and the very high standards they did. highly recommended at any level possible. well made the colesbourne inn"
