"Last night on 01/11/2023, we visited the Plough Inn in Caldecott for dinner. Instead of just having a main course as we originally planned, we ended up enjoying a delightful 3-course meal. The portion sizes were just right for us and the meal itself was delicious. The restaurant has wonderful ambiance, is impeccably clean, and the host and chef were both exceptional. I would highly recommend the Plough Inn to anyone looking for delicious food, a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, and great beer."

excellent well cooked delicious food. had pork fillet in pfefferminz sauce with bratkartoffeln and veg. all cooked to perfection, and also excellent worth. my partner had lasagne, which was also on site.

We had a wonderful experience at the cozy pub called The Plough Inn. We booked the Parlour and Dairy for our meal, and enjoyed a delicious dinner accompanied by a few drinks. We are excited to return in the future and highly recommend this establishment.

great pub, with great food! my wife had the pork fillet in the pfeffer sauce, I had the steak and the meerrettich cake. both were excellent! great selection of Cask-Ales, I recommend the Aussie-Blass-Ale. it also has a dog-friendly vault that is a bonus. we will definitely try the rest of the menu again. the bar staff was very friendly and made us feel at home!

Gene went out of his way so many times to be accommodating. We were a long way from home and in town for a good few weeks over the Christmas period, the nights this pub was closed were very sad nights indeed! Absolutely lovely pub with great home made food. If you’re going there to dine call ahead to book as it’s very popular so gets booked out quickly and for good reason!

Food is all ways spot on, mostly home cooked and to perfection and amazing value. Great homely rural pub atmosphere very nicely decorated. excellent beer and wine selection. All ways kept very clean and tidy and willing to accommodate your needs if they can. Big outdoor well kept beer garden for the summer. Advised to book ahead for weekends as it can get fully booked. small car park but ample parking all around the front green.
