This is a lovely country pub serving great food at a reasonable price. Vegetarian and vegan options are excellent. We love it so does the dog!

A great country pub with a lovely garden. The man and wife team run a relaxed friendly environment. The wife cooks great food and the husband keeps great real ales. Superb.

We had a lovely meal here. The food was excellent. The staff were lovely and value for money good. Brilliant choice of real ales. Service was a little slow at first but they were very busy. We WILL be back. Voir le carte

We had a wonderful experience at the cozy pub called The Plough Inn. We booked the Parlour and Dairy for our meal, and enjoyed a delicious dinner accompanied by a few drinks. We are excited to return in the future and highly recommend this establishment.

This local pub is fantastic with delicious fresh food. My partner and I both ordered the roast pork and were very impressed with the quality of the meat. The potatoes were also excellent! The restaurant is locally owned and run, and we were fortunate to snag a table at the last minute.

Living locally however never ventured to this adorable cosy pub before now. Lovely warm welcome from the owner Gene some regulars too with their pooches. Great variety of drinks really lovely homemade food. We will definitely be back. It’s always lovely to give business to an independent pub too. Definitely recommend x Voir le carte

Little bit of a hostile welcome saying something about the chickens being chased near the road. Maybe put the chickens away stating you are dog friendly? Food nice, not outstanding. Opening times limited too. Hubby asked to buy a bottle of wine to take away and the owner stated no problem we will charge you £10 instead of £22, yep £22 was taken from the bank

We arrived on time was shown to our table comfortable seats , real Ale choice stunning he certainly runs a good all round bar We styled and looked at the black board menu good choice and reasonable prices Starter for me pate bang on the good lady had salt and pepper squid again very good I had the Thai green chicken curry fantastic wife had beef stroganoff she enjoyed that as well no desert because we had been strawberry picking and had them waiting at home but over all very good

Last night on 01/11/2023, we visited the Plough Inn in Caldecott for dinner. Instead of just having a main course as we originally planned, we ended up enjoying a delightful 3-course meal. The portion sizes were just right for us and the meal itself was delicious. The restaurant has wonderful ambiance, is impeccably clean, and the host and chef were both exceptional. I would highly recommend the Plough Inn to anyone looking for delicious food, a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, and great beer. Voir le carte
