"We looked up the reviews and location from our apartment 5 mins in a car or 38 walking, also it stated that it was dog friendly. We dined there Friday our first night in Llanddona and everything was superb so we went again on the Saturday. The food was excellent Friday 2 had fish and chips one had Cajun chicken burger and one had steak and ale pie, Saturday 2 had the steak special 2 rump steaks with chips, onion rings and all the trimmings also a bottle of house wine for £40) one had steak and ale pie and one sausage and mash. We also had desserts both nights, apple crumble and custard, chocolate brownie with cream and chocolate fudge cake. Our pup joined us both nights and you could help yourself to biscuits and water for them. We took his own bone just to keep him quiet on the first night. I couldn’t fault anything, the food was excellent and quite reasonably priced, the craft beer was good and the lager we had to, the staff were all very helpful and attentive nothing too much trouble. If we are in the area again we will definitely visit. Thank you everyone at Owain Glyndwr"

I love the food, the friendly service, and the cozy atmosphere by the open fire. Perfect way to unwind after a long day of walking!

This charming little pub in the peaceful village of Llandonna, North Wales is amazing! The food was top-notch, especially the JFC special which was unbelievably tasty - even better than KFC.

Throughly enjoyed Sunday Lunch planned at the last minute. It was simply lovely to be near an open fire with the family. The food was delicious, pork and turkey, and with very generous portions. Definitely returning

This is one of the best pubs with great food on the island! The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is nice. Their JFC Thursdays are amazing! Emily at the bar was incredibly accommodating. Jay the chef serves the best food I've had in years. I highly recommend this place. Voir le carte

Went with friends on a Saturday evening. Great friendly warm welcome. Ordered lasagne and it was one of the best I’ve had. The other two ordered fish and chips and they thoroughly enjoyed theirs too (happened to be on the specials board the night we went….2 for £20 which was even better) Will definitely be back. Heard from friends that the Sunday lunch is really good too! Will be back very soon.

The restaurant was bustling on a Friday night with local customers unwinding after the work week. We decided to grab dinner and found that the portions were generous and most of the dishes were well cooked and presented nicely. However, we were disappointed with the fish and chips - while the fish and peas were excellent, the chips were made from boiled, then fried potatoes that arrived lukewarm. We voiced our disappointment and received a £5 discount. It's unclear why this happened; perhaps because we were visitors to the area?
