"I had been to this restaurant before and enjoyed it, so I decided to come back. However, it seems like there has been a change in ownership or chef since my last visit. The menu was very limited with not much to choose from. I decided to order soup after seeing the other dishes coming out looking unappetizing. Unfortunately, the chicken was cold, the vegetables and salad were soggy, and the chips were undercooked. What really put me off was when I saw the chef picking food off the floor and putting it on a plate while I was in the restroom. Fortunately, we had already received our food at that point. I would suggest avoiding this restaurant as the food is not up to par and the staff seem disinterested. It's a shame because the location is lovely. With proper management and attentive staff, this restaurant could be much better."

After taking a long detour from Campbeltown to reach this bar for lunch, we were disappointed to find out that the scampi listed on their website menu was unavailable. Overall, we rated the food a 3, service a 3, and atmosphere a 2.

Had dinner here on 2 nights whilst staying at the local holiday park. The food was fantastic, would highly recommend. Probably best to book in advance as it’s quite small and you wouldn’t want to miss out. We will definitely be back when we are next in the area again

Amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing us to sit outside due to our nervous dog. This was not an issue at all. The server was very kind and the food was the best I have ever had in the Campbeltown area. We will definitely be returning.

This is a fantastic little restaurant. The building is charming with a classic pub feel inside. The food was delicious and clearly made at home. The service was excellent. The restaurant is affiliated with a golf course and offers stunning views of the sea and the golf course.

The staff at this restaurant were lovely and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the start of our evening. Everyone was friendly and cheerful, creating a great atmosphere. Despite having been to the pub before, we were particularly impressed by the warm welcome we received this time. We all enjoyed our dinner and left feeling satisfied.

I was disappointed with the service and food at this restaurant, so I made a complaint to the management. They arranged for a complimentary meal for two at another restaurant in their group, The Harbour Grille. This experience was a significant improvement - the staff were friendly, efficient, and attentive, and the food was delicious. It was a completely different experience, and I am very grateful to Mhari Morrison for making it happen. The cost per person was between £10-£20.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the overall atmosphere at this restaurant. The interior was lovely. I don't understand the negative reviews as we didn't encounter any of the issues mentioned. Despite it being busy when we arrived, we were served in a reasonable amount of time. The Venison Burger was delicious. We were able to bring both of our dogs with us and it wasn't a problem. There were other dogs in the pub as well, and everyone was welcomed. The price per person was between £10-£20.

We brought a friend and her two children to this restaurant because we had enjoyed the food and service on previous visits. We were disappointed to find that our favorite haggis nachos and chicken tenders were no longer on the menu. Despite the restaurant being quiet, the food took a long time to arrive. The chicken burger was flavorless and was sent back immediately. Two burgers were eaten out of hunger but were not enjoyable. The third burger was cold and undercooked. The Chicken Tikka was average. The fries were delicious and the staff kindly accommodated our request to change our reservation time from 6:30pm to 5:30pm. The prices have increased significantly since our last visit. Overall...
