Went. To the north star for my mums family birthday meal staff were very attentive the food a came out on time and was delicious will definitely been returning and thanks to the team that were working that shift

We came in on a Thursday evening and had a fantastic evening. Rachel who served us really went the extra mile for us, nothing was too much bother and she was really friendly and welcoming. Thank you Rachel. We look forward to coming again. Great food and atmosphere.

Can for a family birthday meal we was able to bring in our own cake aswell as decorate our area there was 18 of use all meals came out together the food was lovely the service also was great nothing was to much trouble well do to all the team working we will defo be back Voir le carte

Lovely food great atmosphere. One member of staff was slight over intensive by keep asking if we were going to order food. Despite us saying we would let them know when reading or do it on app he still kept coming over every few mins. Otherwise a great time. Will be going back

Like the fact it’s table service, food is of a good quality for the price you pay and there is usually a good 2/3 course offer available too. The hand-pumped ales are lacking and the floor can be sticky, apart from that a good place for a meal. There are always enough staff who are always friendly and helpful too.

we came to a meal on Wednesday evening without our children, and had a nice meal and a few drinks, nice quiet atmosphere, personal worked really hard and was a pleasure to be served by a team who worked clearly fun with people. many thanks to the whole team, although we arrived a long day before us on Thursday, we just needed some time for ourselves and that was respectful. best wishes mr and mrs fox Voir le carte

had a nice evening here with the family. not for many years and really enjoyed the atmosphere and hire and booked to go back for a meal in two weeks. simple parking and very friendly staff and easy to get a table although it was a mon night. the workers interacted with the people there who were visited and let them feel welcome. outside the garden area looked beautiful. somewhere to try in warmer months.

We visited on 20th at 1645hrs. I have to say I have no complaints about the food and service until 6pm. We were seated in the restaurant where we we recieving table service up until the day staff were replaced by the evening staff. From 6pm we didnt see another member of staff, to the point we had to go to the bar and order drinks and deserts and ask for plates to be cleared.. Unfortunately this is down to lack of staff, it is painfully obvious they dont have enough staff when the place is full, as it was, because its christmas. We came here to celebrate Christmas Day with our family (14 of us) and we all felt that the meal and service run by Nathan and his team was excellent. I booked this back in September with Nathan and I pointed out that one of us was a celiac sufferer. He was completely re-assuring and said this wasn't a problem for them at all. I have to say that the choices for all 3 meal courses was very good with 5 starters, 4 mains and 6 desserts to choose from. We arrived at 3pm and our table was ours until 6pm so we had plenty of time together. All in all the meal was excellent with plenty of food for everyone and with excellent service.
