Beautiful food, fantastic staff. Fantastic atmosphere, can’t wait to go back again. Best curry I’ve had for a very long time.

We had a delightful dining experience at this restaurant. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. Overall, we had a wonderful evening.

I made a massive mistake thinking I had booked the Gurkha but was actually next door. The owners were polite but firm and helped me resolve the situation. I can only rate them 10/10 for dealing with an idiot abroad Voir le carte

We had a great time on our first visit to a Nepalese restaurant! The thali was one of the most delicious Asian meals I have ever had. I chose a medium-spiced dish, and it was perfect and incredibly tasty. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

Wanted to visit this restaurant for a while and managed to book this evening. The wait didn’t disappoint, service was excellent and the food was delicious. The restaurant has an authentic feel, there’s a great choice of traditional Ghurka food and the staff are efficient. Looking forward to the next visit already!

This place is a real find. Simple, comfortable accommodation with a fantastic Nepalese restaurant attached we ate there both nights. The breakfast is also excellent. The Inn is run by a charming Nepalese couple who are very friendly and welcoming. Talgarth itself is lovely, with the river Ennig running through it. Voir le carte

We organized a dinner for 17 people after work at this restaurant. It was a fantastic evening with excellent service from the beginning to the end. They were willing to open early to accommodate our work schedule and provided us with delicious food and great service throughout the evening. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals, with each person trying something different. We want to thank the manager and all the staff for a wonderful team night out.

We recently spent a week in the Brecon Beacons, and were delighted to see that many Gurkha families were scattered around. Older folk will remember the reputation for extreme bravery these small mountain people earned in WW2. They come from Nepal 'the roof Of the World '. So we eagerly booked a meal at The New Gurkha Inn and were not disappointed. Very welcoming and friendly. The food was lovely and 'subtly ' different... Lots of colourful little dishes surrounding a big, medium hot curry that was not at all greasy.

Just returned from a two night stay at The New Gurkha Inn, Talgarth. What a gem of a place, room was very clean, warm cozy, the restaurant downstairs has a superb large choice of dishes, all cooked fresh with amazing flavours, excellent value for pure quality food too,washed down with Gurka beer!,staff all very, very friendly and helpful, could not do enough for you, continental breakfast with a huge choice to suit everyone, I would highly recommend The New Gurkha Inn, great base to explore the Brecon Beacons and surrounding area's of buety Voir le carte
